Energy is foundational to advancement and progress, so we’re making strategic investments in cleaner energy to benefit those who live in energy poverty, which is also a key initiative highlighted in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The Sempra Foundation seeks to impact this goal in North America by investing in projects that enable clean air, safe food and affordable light and heat, and importantly, that reduce expenses for those struggling to make ends meet.
The story we tell today will be amplified over time as we embark on impact measurement for the first time in our foundation’s history and begin sharing the social and environmental benefits that accrue over time because of our investments.
